Maintenance & Cleaning:

The 20mm Ruby Pearl is a unique one because of its massive size and ability to retain heat.  Please use caution as the 20mm Ruby Pearl holds onto heat for several minutes after use. Here are some of our top tips for keeping your rubies in great shape.

• Suggested for hot dabs: We've had the most success with preheating our banger and then placing the 20mm Ruby Pearl on top as a carb cap after we drop the dab inside, otherwide known as a hot dab. This avoids heating the banger with the ruby on top (i.e. cold-start dab) which can crack the ruby from the intense heat. 
  
• Don't expose hot rubies to liquid as the shock can cause them to crack. We recommend cleaning with a dry q-tip while warm and waiting until the ruby fully cools if you want to use isopropyl alcohol or any other liquid cleaners. If you do clean the ruby, make sure it's fully dry before heating again.
  • Please note the 20mm Ruby Pearl take a LONG time to fully cool. In our testing the ruby was still too hot to touch ~5 minutes after we heated it so be very careful!
