Here at Ritual Colorado we're no strangers to gemstones, in fact we've sold more than 200,000 individual gems since we opened online in April 2022! Offering the best in dab performance, these beautiful AAA-quality, lab-grown rubies come in a variety of sizes and shapes for ultimate customization to your dab session.

The Rounded Ruby Pillar are available in a couple different sizes and features curved ends, sometimes referred to as a terp pill. Best used in slurpers and quartz bangers with a more narrow bucket, we love ruby pillars for their ability to spread out concentrates and the fun little spin they do when you get to ripping. The skinny 3mm pillars are awesome inside of a Hollow Quartz Pillar for a custom Pillar-in-Pillar setup! Looking for other shapes, sizes or materials? Check out our Dab Inserts page for all the options!

  • Rounded Ruby Pillar

Why Use A Terp Pillar?

  • Surface Area: Terp Pillars in your banger provide additional surface area for optimal extraction. Additionally, the agitation caused by terp pillars ensures you get maximum concentrate to hot surface contact during your dab.
  • Heat Retention: The addition of rubies in your banger increases the total heating calories available meaning a longer time at optimal temperatures.

Maintenance & Cleaning:

Given that the Rounded Ruby Pillar is most commonly used in a quartz banger you'll have to pay attention to temperatures to avoid damage. Here are some of our top tips for keeping your rubies in great shape.

  • Avoid direct flame contact with your ruby pillar. The rapid heating from torching the rubies directly can cause them to crack due to thermal shock. Instead, we recommend gently heating your ruby through the banger.
  • Don't expose hot rubies to liquid as the shock can cause them to crack. We recommend cleaning with a dry q-tip while warm and waiting until they fully cool if you want to use isopropyl alcohol or any other liquid cleaners. If you do clean the rubies, make sure they're fully dry before heating again.
