What’s the difference between a beaker bong and a straight tube?
Beaker bongs have a wider, flared base that holds more water and offers more stability. Straight tubes are slimmer and clear faster for harder hits; it's all about your personal style.
Do beaker bongs hit smoother than straight tubes?
That is really dependent on the pieces you're comparing! While beaker bongs generally have a higher water capacity, that doesn't necessarily mean your vapor is in contact with water for longer which is where the real cooling action happens. A combination of water volume, perc style and overall piece size all contribute to how smooth it will rip.
What size bowl or downstem do these pieces use?
Most of our beaker and straight tube bongs use 14mm or 18mm (aka 19mm) joints. You'll find joint sizes clearly listed on each product page for compatibility.
Can I use these bongs for concentrates too?
Absolutely. Just swap out the flower bowl for a banger or dab nail. Some customers prefer designated rigs for concentrates, but these pieces (like all glass) can be versatile depending on your preferences.
