What does "510" mean?
510 or 510 threading refers to the specific threading commonly used on cannabis cartridges. To get (probably too) specific, it refers to the male end of the cartridge having 10 metal threads at 0.5mm intervals. But most importantly, it ensures compatibility so you know your battery will work with your cart.
What does variable voltage mean?
Variable voltage refers to the ability to adjust the voltage being sent from the battery to your cart. Lower voltages correlate with lower temperatures and vice versa, but it's a nice modern feature that you can adjust the voltage level to dial in the experience for each cartridge.
Is a 510 Battery a Dab Pen?
While both allow you to conveniently smoke on the go, not all 510 batteries are wax pens. We consider a dab pen to be an all-in-one device that lets you drop in loose concentrates and vaporize them in a convenient package. Therefore, we consider 510 batteries that come with an atomizer to be dab pens, but the others are just a 510 cartridge battery.
